Is It Disrespectful To Stare At His Girl???

Dear MANChild,

I have no problem with my boyfriend taking a quick glance at someone who is nice looking because I do that too.

I have a problem when my boyfriend takes long hard stares at girls to where it feels like he is trying to get her to notice him, sending signals to her and whatnot. I had a problem when we were at a store when there was this hot chick standing in line in front of us. He stared at her the whole time we were in line, to a point that I decided to walk out the store - and he just continued to stare at her. When he came out of the store, he asks why I walked out the store. And when I told him that I was not going to stand next to him and be disrespected that way, he asked “oh you are jealous?”

Another time (out of the many other times) his daughter and I were waiting for him to get into the car, but he was standing outside the car staring at a girl for as long as a couple minutes. When I told him of that incident, his excuse was that he was looking for his phone and checking his phone.

I would like an outside opinion on his behavior. I feel I deserve to be treated better. Am I just being really insecure and too sensitive? I think that staring at girls in that way is just like hitting on her. Am I crazy for thinking that?

Frustrated.

I have a variety of female friends, from exes, associates, former classmates and colleagues, not to mention a few casual ones as well.  To be blessed with an array of women like this in my life is really healthy - it just feels damn good.  I can't think of any other esoteric way to describe it.  Oh, I will also admit that I couldn't be as smart as I am today without the contribution of womanhood.  I think that we can all attest to that one.

Ok, so where am I going with this?  Well, I was in a relationship a few years ago with a beautiful nubian woman that I really grew to adore - and I learned something new in the process.  Lisa was beautiful, cool, and exuded a warm spirit - everyday.  She was laid back, yet confident. Not the 'prima donna' type, she was silly - just like me.  And she liked my style of silly.  She was also book smart, completing her last year of her master's degree program, she was poised to be doing big things in state government work.  We spent a lot of time together, to the point that we were almost inseparable.  But in a few short months, I would be moving back to NY, while Lisa would be returning to Baton Rouge to  embark on her new career.  Nonetheless, we grew very close.  But we also began to live with emotional regret, realizing that soon we would be saying goodbye.

Pixel Police?  I think that we need this in some form.  Since we have about 27 Czars in government right now, I think that adding a protector of pixels would really help to eliminate the meaningless number of online notes, blogs, emails (mostly from the lost kids of African kings that need help transferring gazillions of dollars), and constant posts from Facebook folks that remind us that: "I woke up this morning and I'm feeling great"....and then, "I ate 3 pancakes this morning and I'm feeling great".... then, "I walked the dog and I'm feeling great".... then, "I'm running late to the airport, but I'm feeling great".... but 2 days later, "OMG, somebody ran up in my crib and robbed me."  Taboo?  Maybe - but the constant "checking in" - it's just not necessary.  It's kinda nervous, but it's also dangerous.

Hello ya'll and all.  Chad Chizzle is at it again.  He posed a question to Facebook friends and received great responses that must be shared.  I'll let you do the math.  As I'll be heading to my local smell good store to re-stock on my common "scents" (please note that I said "RE-STOCK" you jokesters out there) - with knowledge shared by some fashionable sistas that took time to educate the brothers.  I posted a Man Law (read about it here) a few months back and decided to keep this going.  Enjoy the message.
